PORTUGAL - Italy. 1864 letter to Milano, franked with King Pedro V 100R lilac (1855 issue) in combination with King Luiz 25R rose (1862 issue) both tied by dotted numeral + handstamp of Lisbon. On arrival to Milano letter was redirected a to Brescia - Ghedi and 15c (1863 issue) Italian stamp applied for further transmission. All relevant transits and arrival postmarks on reverse of cover. Very rare example of franked redirection and probably unique usage of this Italian issue for franking redirected mail.
