BARBADOS - Hong Kong China. 1888, 4 January, QV 1 1/2d stationery card sent to Hong Kong, cancelled by Barbados duplex (KD4)showing scarce postage due 'Heart Shaped T' handstamp (UP2) reverse shows Hong Kong arrival c.d.s. BERMUDA - Great Britain. 1884 postal stationery card, with affixed 1/2d &1d stamps in the form of adhesives by the postal authorities, send from Hamilton to Chatram, arrival postmark on reverse. BRITISH WEST INDIES. 1893-1925, very interesting group of seven uprated registered stationery envelopes and cards, from Antigua, Barbados, Bahamas, Bermuda, Jamaica and St. Lucia to Germany, Italy, Netherlands and USA. GREAT BRITAIN used in Gibraltar. 1841, three different values, 1d. red-brown, IMPERF Die I plate 27 E-D & 1d rose red, watermark. Large Crown perf 14, Die II, plate 42 T-D. Each cancelled on piece by 'G'-Gibraltar obliterator. Imperf stamp is UNLISTED by SG (one other imperf 1d is recorded) & the perf is SG Z 25. An 1866 cover from Gibraltar franked by 1d red plate 93 & tied by A26 to Genova, Via di Mare (E) in red, is also enclosed with this lot. Fitting addition to any QV Gibraltar or GB collection. cert.
