TIBET. 1912-60, highly interesting research balance accumulation, presenting stamps and postal history of this challenging area. Two very early hand written letters with native negative handstamps. First stamp design 1912-50 values 1/3 t. blue, 1/2 t. violet, 2/3 t. carmine, 1 t. vermilion & 1 s. green showing a variety of mint/used stamps, singles and pairs on pieces and two letters. The Lion 1933-60 TIBET design, all values are represented mint/used showing interesting array of shades, papers, printing settings, plate varieties, imperforate and privately pin-perforated stamps. In addition good range of 16 covers (2 bisected noted, some with additional Indian stamps) and one picture postcard. Official stamps are represented as well mint/used, small sheetlet of 6 and two covers. An excellent lot for study. Viewing highly recommended. (20 covers 1 postcard plus stamps). (Photo).
